Alaska’s seafood is world renowned for its quality and abundance, and you’ll
find it featured prominently on menus from Barrow to Ketchikan and all points
in between. But Alaska cuisine isn’t limited to seafood alone. Although the
state has historically featured more sourdough pancakes and blueberry pie than
haute cuisine, an exciting crop of restaurants features food to rival any urban
destination. On top of that, a wide range of ethnic specialties can be found in
all but the tiniest communities.

One
of our most unique culinary experiences is a genuine Alaska salmon bake. These
buffet-style feasts offer grilled salmon and other seafood along with salads,
breads and desserts featuring Alaska ingredients and traditions. Our wild
berries and gigantic veggies, grown massive under the midnight sun, make
excellent complements to the world’s best wild seafood. A visit to Alaska is
not complete without at least one salmon-bake dinner.
